JV3E6076newMuddy Boots and Sandy Hands is a Leaders for Geelong initiative involving participants from the City of Greater Geelong, Parks Victoria and GMHBA Health Insurance.

Part of the Leaders for Geelong program involves conceiving, managing and delivering a community-focused project. Leaders for Geelong 2011-13 participants Ty Caling, Stephen Parker and Martin Young teamed up in early 2012 around the concept of creating a club or initiative with the goal of better connecting children and their parents with nature and the outdoors.

After some twists and turns Muddy Boots and Sandy Hands was born. We hope that the activities, research or even just the name inspires you to spend time with your kids outside. They'll love it!
